Blog by Eva Ana Slovenia: LAST MINUTE SAVIORS

Imagine the snooze alarm waking you up 30 minutes too late and you’ve got an appointment on the other side of the city. You had a late night, so you didn’t think about your outfit, the house is all messy and you feel rather uncomfortable in your skin. What do you do? Here are a few tips to save your tooshie in the last moment.

1. Nude on!

Always have neutral undergarments handy, they will save you the trouble when deciding. Make sure to keep a under shirt or a body shaping teddy in a skin colour. It will prevent you from worrying about see through materials or cold in the winter!

2. Lush lips

A lipstick in a shade that will brighten up your face is a life savior. Even if you don’t have the time to put make-up on the right one will hide the blemishes and in a combination with a mascara give the impression of a night of a good sleep. Pick a colour that could compliment most of your closet and save it in your purse. They say there’s a right red for every girl out there. Opt for a slighty glossy one. Bringing too much drama to the office in the morning will get you free mornings tomorrow. Always classy, but with character.

3. A statement

When in a rush you might want to go for basics that are proven to flatter you. What will give your outfit an instant lift is a bold accessory. Go for lux materials when wearing scarves, visible necklaces or sparkly earrings. You might even like some slightly unexpected twists if the occasion doesn’t require your to be too formal. Gloves, kimono belts, furry details and turbans are my choice.

4. Like a Kelly

Get yourself a classic bag. A firmly shaped quality piece in a darker colour would do the cut. It’s an investment piece you won’t regret. Class boost guaranted!

5. The shoe department

Try to get yourself in a routine of cleaning your shoes when you get home, not just before you have to leave it. It will make the picking more pleasurable. If you keep your “babies” in boxes, cut one side of each box out, so they get aired and you get a better look at what you’re working with. Organizing them by colour or season isn’t a bad idea either, right?

I do wish you some more relaxed mornings!
