The third’s day review is coming with a bit of a delay. Three days of a tempo (fashion week+editing pictures+ writing articles+other work for the allaroundeve) got me feeling bad for big shots who go couture on fashion weeks. A bit of  rest left allowed me to refleclect more.

While sitting and observing the crowd on Wednesday I wondered why the demand for these ticket was so much bigger than for the other ones. It is a fact that the brands presenting the last day represent the essence / tradition of Slovene fashion, but I find quality so much more important than a long-time existence on the fashion scene. If you read the first three articles you might have remembered I was impressed how everyone has stepped up their game since last year. I hoped the same will happen with the »big stars« too. I guess a fancy formal presentation like Fashion week really brings out the best.

Tanja Zorn

..once again did what I find impossible to do. She designed purrrfect and highly forgettable pieces. No wonder there are so few reviews on the collection. The purrrfect still stands “ the pink blazer supplement and the suit is where allaroundeve sees herself.

Draž

Draž is the main representative of our region’s knitwear houses and also the main reason of my boredom and culprit for stereotypes about knitwear. Don’t get me wrong, 100 people, 100 tastes as we say in Slovene and yet it is amazing how much is it possible to dress down a look. I’m glad they’re following the turban trend “ just as the rest of the world has been doing since 2009. Everyone with an apparel brand designs for themselves or at least for an alter ego, secretly. That’s quite obvious with UrÅ¡ka Draž. Her designs suit her perfectly. Maybe she should send herself on the runway. Right presentation is everything.

Farandula

The always smiling duo has made a closet, not a collection of coherent looks, which is a suicide when you’re group presenting. Some were editorial-ready, others made us wonder of the purpose. I’m adding pictures of the yay’s because the potential of the brand is obvious. Overal: whyyoudothistome face.

See-through pieces are an easy way to compliment a wardrobe of a lover of easy and cool or fashion-fetish. Still, an unfinished story is a story not worth reading.

THIS is the reason last show’s tickets were the hottest stuff out there. Sisters Jelena and Svetlana Proković weren’t afraid to go all the way “ they thought of every single detail, proportion and wow factor. Their looks were completed, suitable for different women to wear and for world stages.

Grošelj

GroÅ¡elj bags are the synonim for a luxury bag and an owner who likes to stand out. It’s the Birkin plus even more class minus classic. Their last years show was an absolute dissapointment – this one made everyone want to make an appointment! Do I have to talk about the clothes? Is mme GroÅ¡elj planning on starting her own line or did she just lent some of her clothes? Either way, they were a hard competition to the bags. And how proud was I for wearing their bag the day before¦

Garevski

Zoran Garevski wasn’t called »the King« by a lady next to me for nothing. He knows where his fashion home is and sticks to it. His craftmanship makes you forget about the colours and wishes you were a part of the cool crowd. With those clothes on “ you’re the leader of the pack.

Was the thing about 10 years ago when all over leather outfits showed you were fashion-forward and bold. I don’t see how they stayed in 2002 with a reputation like they had.  Leather is tricky to design, so someone with a knowledge of making leather pieces has numerous opportunities. Why not take them?

Since she often works in a creative duo with Zoran Garevski, expectations were high. The blue coat was the center of my attention which got shadowed by the furs. She presented those already – at the show of the Chamber of craft and small business. Even though the first show was quite non-commercial she should not have expected she could get away with putting the coats on display twice. My eyes are everywhere.
